Gillards Crooked Carbon Chaos
Atmospheric carbon is a global problem so why combat it locally? Especially when you start by dumping cash into peoples bank accounts during a global recession. What a stupid way of reducing carbon? What do you want them to do Gillard? Rush out and buy something made in China that arrived here with no carbon tax on it? Maybe you are just buying votes or even buying a bit more popularity on the opinion polls. Whatever. Why didn't you let reputable scientists formulate a proper carbon reduction plan rather than one dreamed-up by politicians in a hung parliament? BTW 'reputable scientists' are not the prostitutes in the Chief Scientists office or the CSIRO that provide opinions for money. We are seeing too much of that crap today. Every extinct species is supposed to have 'reduced genetic diversity' according to these eggheads. That's after your economists wiped-out their habitats to build housing estates for welfare-dependent bogans. The biggest problem with the Gillard carbon scheme is it only stores carbon for 25 years, not a minimum 100 years that carbon from your fire or exhaust pipe spends in the atmosphere.
