Edwards And Pullinger's Bizarre Press Conference

So whats happened to Phill Pullinger?
FAIL
Confused 'peace deal' negotiators try to buy back the saw log quotas they allocated. WTF?
I caught the August 15 press conference on News TV and you could tell it was going to be another non-event before it even started. Attempt 3 at announcing the end of the Tasmanian forest wars was yet another FAIL. By refusing to even consider selective harvesting, both teams of hand-picked sock puppets have again painted themselves into a corner. They just can't manage to conserve half a million hectares of nice forests AND supply their big customer from Borneo, the corrupt Taib family that controls Ta Ann. Well whose fault is that Phil and Terry? I'll tell you, it's yours. Your only plan is to sack Australian sawmill workers so you can supply your Malaysian mates. If you two want to be the pained faces of the pathetic, busted-arsed Tasmanian government, wallowing in it's self-created problems then so be it. We know that Ta Ann's contracts were extended for another 5 years in October 2010 just days before this incompetent team signed the 'Statement of Principles'. Now its come back to sabotage the rest of the agreement. The ENGO's should never have rolled-over for Ta Ann.
